Ground
Touring Hovercraft
The King of all Hovercrafts Words By: EbenGregory
Are you really ready
to stunt? If so, the Ground Touring Hovercraft is for you.
The GTH Design, High Speed Hovercraft is a streamlined
hovercraft based on proven technology. Its primary use
is to impress your ladyfriend while taking comfortable,
quiet, long range cruising and overnight trips. This is
accomplished by well-padded seats and the application of
sound deadening material placed around the perimeter of
the enclosed cockpit. This 4-6-person high-speed executive
pursuit hovercraft will knock the socks of even the skeptics.
It's like flying an F18 fighter jet when you get behind
the helm of this high tech showstopper.
The GTH streamlined, wide body shape of the craft allows
for an adequate port and starboard bunk. Tandem front seating
provides outstanding visibility through the automotive
quality tempered glass windshield, which can be provided
with an electric wiper. An additional 72 cubic feet of
space behind the front seating can be utilized for storage
or additional passenger seats. The craft is designed for
durability and damage tolerance by the application of a
monocoque type structure made up of encapsulated balsa/fiberglass
reinforced panels. The balsa core panels also help to attenuate
sound and vibration.
Typical automobile fuel economy allows substantial range;
this combined with the unique amphibious capabilities will
allow unprecedented access to some of the most remote regions
of the globe. This is the primary reason the design emphasis
has been on reliability, all systems will be marine quality
and special care is taken at all electrical terminations
and pipe/tubing fittings
GTH has to be the meanest thing the hovercraft industry
has ever seen.
The 21st Century masterpiece has
gull wing doors, and bears a strong resemblance to an
exotic sport car that
James Bond would drive. With this model, you can play James,
and score with all the ladies. Once the main engine purrs
to life, the pilot pushed the buttons that awakens the
lift fans and the secret craft rises up on 10" of
air that enables it to glide over any surfaces like water,
pavement, sand, snow, ice or land. A decided advantage
over other recreational vehicles that can only roam on
land or sea. It can take you to places where you can fly
over, but just couldn't get to, says the creator.
Mastering hovercraft maneuvers,
however does take a bit of practice. "It's like a Jet ski combined with an
F18 fighter jet, only more slippery", says the inventor.
A few weeks of training are required before this James
Bond Spy Pursuit Hovercraft can be delivered. The base
price of GTH starts at about $65,000 U.S., which has yet
to be established. So if you’re looking for wild
and unforgettable way to make your entrance into any party
or show, pull up in one of these and let the good times
begin.
